L'ascension de Mont Buet aussi surnommé Mont Blanc des Dames, est une superbe course au travers du paysage alpin.
Au départ de la Poya au Buet, l'itinéraire du [collectif photo->art546] représente 1800 m de dénivelé. Le sentier nous entraîne dans une forêt de mélèzes. En longeant les Eaux de Bérard, nous découvrons une magnifique cascade. Ce sera pour le [collectif->art546] l'occasion de haltes photographiques.

Après s'être enfoncé dans le vallon de Bérard, on y entrevoit le refuge adossé à un gros bloc de pierre. Dès lors le paysage se transforme, laissant la place aux cairns et aux blocs de granits. La végétation se fait alors plus discrète mais très fleurie.

Le passage est un peu périlleux, mais fait la joie des bouquetins et chamois. L'ascension du pierrier final demande un dernier effort. Sur la crête sommitale, un panorama grandiose s'impose à nous, le massif des aiguilles rouges est en premier plan.

Nous profitons de ce balcon unique sur le majestueux Mont blanc et les glaciers afin de réaliser quelques clichés. La vue porte loin sur toute la chaîne du Mont Blanc. Une brève fenêtre dans la mer de nuage nous dévoile la pointe de l'Aiguille du Midi et les sommets des Grandes Jorasses. Le sommet du Buet est marqué par un grand cairn ou flotte au vent les drapeaux à prières.
